Daily Inspiration with Merdrey

About a month ago, i was inspired by this book i saw about sketches. In the book were many different types of human illustrations, some drawn with pen, some with pencils and others, a combination of those and computer graphics. The ones that inspired me most we somewhat haphazard in design, with splashes of paint all around. I kinda loved the artistic look and i thought hey maybe i can do something similar on my scrapbook pages. That was how i created the layout class for November called Splash & Drip Painty Layouts (CS-PAINTY). Here's sneaks of all four layouts!

Hi there! Here's the class I've designed for November. With Christmas just around the corner you might be thinking of handcrafting Christmas gifts for your loved ones or making a pretty Christmas home decor. In this class you'll alter a Kaisercraft tree in its own ornate metal vase, making a delightful Christmas tree to hang your family or friend's favourite photos off of. You'll get to create with some of the newest embossing powders, Christmas collections from Graphic 45 as well as flowers and embellishments from Prima Marketing.

Instead of just using the squares as a pattern, I managed to squish in loads of journalling behind every square!

I wanted to let you have a peek at 2 of my projects coming up in November.  They're both mini albums, but very different!

First is a fun mini canvas album that features fun with paint and foam stamping - great for those who want to learn to work with paint and best of all, you'll get the actual foam stamp used in the project to take home too! (DS - SUNSHINE)

The second is a fun mini album that features a cool pull-tab flip-up mechanism - its pretty hard to explain...so you'll just have to pop by to see for yourself. (DS - HIDE & SEEK)

Hiya! Here's my art journal to share with you this Sunday. I layered the journal with paints and tissue papers using Liquitex Matte Gel. I did story book paper teared technique using the help of the Matte Gel too. Finally I distressed the whole page with Tattered Angel Glimmer Glaze.
