Daily Inspiration with Janice

Here is my Christmas assignement project using Kaiser Crafts Advent Calender. Decided to give Dad a Calender counting down to Christmas and at the same time leaving him small wishes in the boxes counting down to Christmas. On the Christmas day 25th box it would be a little clue to where his present is like a game of treasure hunt. Using a mixture of Websters page old and new christmas collection including embellishments from K&Co. The numbers are sprinkled with Martha Stewart's glitter flakes to give it more texture. Cheers Janice

Daily Inspiration with Susan

Hi there! I found a toy box lying around my house and I was about to bin it when
I thought why not alter it. So here's my altered toy box, using Prima's Printery
papers plus lots of Tattered Angels mists, chalkboard mists, glam and glaze. I wanted
a distinctly grungy look and went to town with different kinds of mediums plus bits
and bobs of lace, chipboard, pearls and flowers from my stash.

If you have some boxes lying around your home, why not try altering them with
your growing scrapbook stash? ;)
For more details, visit my blog at Of Photos & Paper.
Cheers!

Altered frame1

It's Sunday again! Here's an altered photo frame made for a friend for her birthday.
What I did to this photo frame:
1) Choose a frame
2) Cover the frame with crumpled tissue paper
3) Paint with white gesso
4) Spray glimmermist onto the tissue texture
5) Cover the frame with favourite patterned paper
6) White wash with white gesso
7) Covered with another layer of patterned tissue paper
8) Stamp stamp stamp with stamps
9) Embellish the frame with prima flowers, patterned papers, hambly's transparency, ribbon and text
10) and done!

Hope you are inspired to alter a photo frame today! Nice frames and products from KaiserCraft to start with your masterpiece! Enjoy!

And here's my all time HOT FAVOURITE!! I love these doillies!

If you're wondering what in the world can you do with these wood stuff, you can mist them, paint them, emboss them, ink them, stamp on them. You can even break them in half to use! They can literally withstand almost anything you wanna throw at them! Oooooo! Love these!

Cheers
