Stamping with Betty...

Yipeee! It's Sunday!.....I am so excited to share with you this special stamping technique.....Here's this week project idea to share with you, an ATC (Artist Trading Card) card that I have made with the Fantasy Film from Art Glitter. It's so fun and easy!

See how lovely the dragonfly is... It looks like a small piece of stained glass... Wanna try?

Steps:

1) Preheat your iron to medium high.

2) Cut 3 pieces of Fantasy Film.

3) Stamp the dragonfly rubber stamp (from Art Glitter) with Staz On Ink (here I used black for my ATC).

4) Place 3 layers of Fantasy Film on top of the inked dragonfly rubber stamp.

5) I layered a piece of vellum on top of the Fantasy Film to protect my iron. Iron the layers for about 3 
    seconds.

6) Tada, You are done!

7) You can do the followings:

        (a) cut out the shape, bend up the wings
        (b) add glitter, rhinestones
        (c) make it a magnet, a little hanging mobile, confetti, die cut shapes etc...
        (d) heat bond more layers to make it thicker

Ed's Weekend Challenge

It's the weekend again and Splendid Saturday is here :) How are you doing and what's happening this weekend? Ed's Weekend Challenge

Make & Take

And now, time for a new challenge with Ed this weekend. Any guesses what it is this time? Give up?
Well, this fortnight, my challenge for you is to use multiple photos on your layout. It has to be 4 or more photographs. I'm sure you've lots of snapshots and creating a layout with them.

Laine's had a Make & Take sometime back and my younger kids took part and did an item each. How sweet of Auntie Betty to help them :) I also included the star and a piece of what they did on this layout. They certainly had fun! More details @ my blog.

I hope to see your layouts for this challenge and will reveal what you stand to win next week. You have until November 20th to submit and have fun while you get creative. Enjoy the Weekend!

Thursday Toots with Sharon

Hey, hey! More of you have posted your layouts on Ed's Orange Challenge - so cool! So many talents out there!

Here are 3 super sunshiney ones that I spotted this week!

"About a Boy" - by hplovecraft - This layout is seriously orange....I love all the different shades and tones, the different textures and the 'loose' feel of it - airy and full of sunshine!

 

"Charmer" by sindywong - The montage of photos of this little charmer are just too cute! And I love how the monster is looking at the little sweetheart putting on the crown....maybe because they're both wearing striped t-shirts!

 

"Don't Steal My Orange!" by joyinthe lord - This is a cool twist on the challenge - the orange is in the photos and the title!  Did you see how she spelt the word orange - some clever letter substitution going on there - so smart!
